Are there any gunsmiths in this place? Or people who can do magic-type shit to fix guns?
[She knows there's a bunch of you weirdoes with wizardy powers.]
Nothing urgent or anything; I just wanted to know for later. I've got a pair of customized Beretta 92FS's that I'd hate to lose.
[She did go get them tuned up at Praiyachat's after the shitstorm with Roberta died down, and outside of regular cleaning and maintenance she actually hasn't used her guns much in the past few months ever since she learned to work the Battle Dome. But given the types of confrontations she tends to get into, it's only a matter of time before something happens to her beloved cutlasses again.
...right, she's forgetting something, isn't she?]
Obviously there's no money here, so lemme know what you want me to do to pay up. No bedroom shit, though, so get those thoughts outta your head if they're in there.

[Voice]
A Luger, huh? That's pretty old-school.
[Voice]
[But still an excellent weapon, if he did say so himself.]
[Voice]
Huh. So...you're from the future, then?
[Relative to her, anyway.]
[Voice]
[Voice]
It's 1997 in mine [
or at least that's the best that I've been able to work out] so yeah, guess you are from the future. [A smirk.] So tell me: is Skynet a thing?[Voice]
Sorry, but even our AI isn't quite there yet. It's probably for the best; Earth has enough problems without adding that to the mix.
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Voice]
Of course. The world just keeps on turnin', doesn't it? And every fix just creates new problems.
[Voice]
[That's one thing he's learned all too well during his years both on the battlefield and in Funeral Parlor.]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[... although that might be a bit ahead of her time.]
[Voice]
I have to tell you, this is some weird-ass tech.
[Also holy fuck there are more people in this village than she originally thought.]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[It's why it's taken her so long to bother with her journal.]
[Voice]
[Gai, on the other hand... he'll read just about anything he can get his hands on, in the rare moments he's not occupied by something else.]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Especially things about warfare or military tactics.]
[Voice]
[Meanwhile, if anyone ever catches Revy reading, it's usually one of those men's mags with lots of pictures of scantily-clad ladies. It's anyone's guess whether she bought those herself or if they belong to Dutch or Benny and she just picks them up to kill time.]
[Voice]
Why would I waste my time on those when I have a girlfriend? Besides, they're all too predictable for my tastes. There's never any real adventure in them.
[Voice]
[Playboy articles are obviously so much more refined.]
[Voice]
[Like some of those things Elizabeth had quoted at him...]
[Voice]
[Quite frankly, she's surprised she got more than one person to answer.]
[Voice]
Don't mention it. It's always nice to meet someone else who has good taste in firearms and knows how to use them, unlike most of the people I've dealt with.
