[Under normal circumstances, Revy might (...miiiiiiight) have taken half a second to think through the consequences of being less-than-delicate with the new appendages attached to her back. But these aren't normal circumstances, no sir -- these are Revy-challenged-Rock-to-another-drinking-contest-and-lost-miserably-thus-waking-up-feeling-like-a-team-of-mini-Sawyers-was-running-around-chainsawing-her-grey-matter circumstances.

As a result, wherever Logan might be in the village, he might hear a loud and resounding -- ]

[ -- before a burgundy-haired girl in a white New Feather dress collapses gracelessly to the ground somewhere within Logan's field of vision, curled into a pathetic ball of bad feels. You're a superhero, aren't ya, tough guy? Do your superhero thing and go save this damsel in distress or something.]

[To be honest, Revy kinda wishes she could just lie around for the rest of the day somewhere, but survival instinct overrules it. Not only is she completely unfamiliar with this place, but some goddamn motherfucker took her fucking cutlasses. If she's going to let her guard down for even a tiny bit here, she needs to at least arm herself first. And then proceed to track down the asshole who stole her guns and kill him.

Unfortunately, she's going to be very disappointed once she gets to the weapons shop and realizes that it's pretty much all sharp pointy things as opposed to shooty killy things.]

Don't ya guys have any guns around here?

[She isn't Chinglish Gal, dammit!

Later, Revy goes to the clothing shop, looking for something to replace her shitty welcome dress with. She may possibly smell of vomit and alcohol. Feel free to tell her if it's bothering you, since she'll gladly move out of your way if you do. Ha! Who am I kidding? She'll just tell you to fuck off. It's precisely this attitude that's needed to brighten up such an overcast day, right?

At any point before or after these visits, Revy can be found dragging herself through Luceti's streets trying to get to her destination. She's trying her best not to look miserable, but it's not hard to tell she's feeling like crap. Maybe you saw her trip over something in the road (or nothing at all, really), maybe she's leaning against something for temporary support, or maybe it's just obvious from her expression that she's kiiiinda a Grumpy Gretel right now. Approach to assist at your own risk.]

[It just so happens that Karla is searching through the weapons shop herself, looking for a suitable sword to use while her Wo Dao is in Isaac's possession. So she's examining the swords carefully, picking up a few and slowly slicing through the air to get a feel for their weight. She tried out a regular steel sword, but it's a little heavy, and the shape isn't quite right for her tastes. The weight doesn't bother her as much as the shape does. She then spots a katana, which looks suitable enough, lightweight with a slight curve. It looks durable enough for both slashing and thrusting. She'll go with this one for now, strapping the sheath to her waist.]

[But then she hears a woman yelling quite loudly and glances back in her direction. "Guns?" What are "guns"?]

[snikting]

[Logan was just coming back from a training session, largely for the sole purpose of getting something to eat so he could get back to it. What this presented for Revy was a not-so-tall man with a cigar hanging from his lips and reeking of body odor because, yes, he hadn't showered in a few days. His day was going perfectly fine until...

Anyway. He made his way over to the source of the noise and found a woman curled on the ground. Well. It was New Feather season.]

Just had tae pull the wings, didn't ya?

[His own wings, a stylish black with golden tips, were hanging off his own back. He himself was in his X-Men uniform, a simple black suit with an 'X' on his chest.]

[Revy notices Karla looking her way, because Revy has some sort of innate sense when people are lookin' at her wrong. Mind you, it's often calibrated to over-sensitivity.]

What? You got a problem, sister?

[Revy's about to make some sort of snide remark (probably along the lines of "fuck you" -- she's very creative with her insults, you see), but the pain of having pulled on her wings coupled with the lingering hangover just makes her vomit instead. Now she and Logan can be stinkbuddies!]

No...I just heard you yelling is all. Don't mind me.

[Of course Karla is completely neutral most of the time.]

[You can't expect Revy to "not mind you" if you were giving her a Look.]

Don't suppose you'd know where to find a decent gun around these parts? Or are you guys too medieval for that shit?

[She gives the girl another Look, clearly meaning that she doesn't know what a gun is.]

[Revy stares at Karla for a moment in disbelief before throwing up a hand in frustration and turning away.]

Un-fucking-believable. Of course I get dumped in the middle of Asscrack o' Nowhere where people still use stone clubs for hunting. Just my goddamn fucking luck!

[She punctuates her sentence with a kick to the nearest wall. Thankfully, although she's in a New Feather dress, her steel-toed army boots were left to her when she woke up, so no toes are crushed in the process.]

[She pauses at the tentrum, but otherwise shows no reaction.]

Actually, people use bows for hunting.

[At least in her world. Here, she really has no idea.]

[Logan avoided the vomit ending up on his boot just in time. He frowned and crouched down.]

Alright, alright. Take it slow, kid. Work through it.

Shut up! Like that's any better!

[Revy kicks the wall once more time for good measure before stalking over to look at some of the shorter knives. Not even any switchblades? This place really was like Ren Faire Gone Wild or something.

A simple throwing knife catches Revy's eye, and she picks it up, testing the weight of it in her hand. It had been a while since she'd handled one of these with the intent of eventually using it herself. That had been ages ago in Chinatown, when she'd stolen a blade or two from one of the weapons shops there so she could rob someone else for a gun. Even back then she'd hated the flimsiness of the thin metal, and how it left her open to long-ranged attacks. Unless, of course, she could throw it.]

[Taking the knife by its point, Revy whirls around and snaps her wrist out, sending the knife flying in Karla's direction. It'll miss wide, mainly because Revy isn't actually aiming for the young woman -- she's aiming for the wall farthest from her, and Karla just happens to be in that general area.

The knife clanks handle-first against the wall before clattering uselessly to the ground. One can almost hear the comedic wah-wah-wah saxophone playing right now.]

Aaaaaagh, fuck, what the...

[After a few moments, she regains at least enough strength to blink blearily up at Logan though half-lidded eyes.]

Who the hell are you?

[snikting]

The name's Logan. You able to stand?

[He isn't exactly offering a hand up. But if she tries to stand up and falls over, there is a chance he might try to help.]

[ Revy chose a really excellent place to lean this time, A+ location choice. Because blocking the gate to House 33 is an excellent way to earn the goodwill of the cranky deaf man who lives there. With the most annoyed expression he nudges her with the sheathe of his sword to get her attention and speaks one word. ]

Move.

Really? What's better than a bow?

[Karla doesn't even flinch as the knife is tossed. She keeps her eyes panned on the knife as it hits the wall and then the floor. She twists her mouth in thought.]

Hmm. You could use some practice. But once you get better with it, it can be a deadly weapon.

Yes, but they're only available on your second playthrough.

[Hearing her cry, Isamu couldn't help but stop and lean into the doorway a little, hands in his pockets.]

[Oh geez. He knows where she's coming from, but yelling like that isn't going solve things. Better try calm her down.]

Hey, take it easy. Sorry to, uh, break the news, but there aren't any guns here.

[Revy wipes her mouth with the back of her hand before attempting to get to her feet. She doesn't look the steadiest, what with her feet splayed and her back slightly hunched, but hey, she's up.

And also now up in Logan's face, attempting to grab him by the front of his suit.]

So where am I, where's my damn shit, and why do I have these fucking things on my back?!

[Revy, it's probably not a good idea to antagonize the person who's trying to help you. Especially since that without your guns, you don't exactly have a lot of leverage to threaten anything out of anyone, never mind someone like Logan.]

[Revy might have been inclined to just give Nic the finger and a couple of choice words if he'd just told her to move, but he had to go and poke the pissed poodle. Nope, no mercy from Revy now (...not that she's normally inclined that way) -- she whirls around with a punch. Given that she's still out of sorts, though, she's likely to miss. But maybe she gets lucky too.]

[Revy doesn't even bother with answering Karla's question as she turns her attention elsewhere. Normally she'd probably take a moment to go on about how awesome guns are, but she's not in the most generous of moods (...not that she usually is).

She also doesn't bother to pick up the knife she'd thrown. Whatever, the shopkeepers or whoever can just get it later, right? That was their fuckin' job.]

I ain't interested in lessons, chica. I just want to get my guns and get the hell outta Dodge.

[Never mind what she'd been told about being unable to leave Luceti. Fuck that shit; she was hauling ass out of town once she got her strength back and enough supplies.]

[Revy glances over at Isamu with narrowed eyes.]

Oh, a comedian, are we?

[She brandishes the dagger she picked up.]

How about I tickle your funny bone with one of these? Betcha'd find that real fuckin' hilarious too, right?

[Revy considers him carefully.]

You the owner of this place or something?

[When a hand goes for his suit, he instead tries to seize her wrist with a grip as solid as iron.]

One question at a time, sister. First of all, this place is called Luceti. It ain't gonna be on any map you'll find back home. I don't know where your shit is and as for your wings? Ain't figured that one out either.

[She tries to maintain an optimistic outlook regardless.]

Well, just keep looking. I understand that everyone finds their own belongings in these shops eventually. I was able to find my own sword here. Not just any sword, but the one that actually belonged to me.
